From pumpkin spice to caramel apple, these teas will warm you up from the inside out and leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated.

The Best Fall Flavors from Adagio Teas

Candy Apple Tea

Candy Apple tea

Candy Apple tea from Adagio Teas features a Sri Lankan black tea blended with the delightful flavors of sweet apples and rich caramel. The tea presents a robust profile accompanied by an enticing aroma of caramel. In terms of flavor, the candy apple tea did not fully align with my expectations, but it was still enjoyable. It is less sweet than I anticipated, which I consider a positive aspect. For those who prefer a sweeter experience, I suggest adding a drizzle of honey or caramel syrup.

Although the recommended brewing time is just 3 minutes, this tea tends to steep quite dark. If you prefer milder teas, it’s advisable to use a timer and steep for a shorter duration. I have also experimented by adding thin apple slices during the steeping process and included some caramel to enhance the sweetness.

This tea would pair beautifully with a slice of freshly baked apple pie during Thanksgiving. Naturally, my cousin noticed my Facebook post about the tea and expressed interest in trying it herself.

Fairy Tales Tea Collection

Fairy Tales Tea Collection

If Candy Apple doesn’t appeal to you, Adagio offers a variety of other apple-flavored teas. For those seeking a caffeine-free option, consider trying the Snow White tea from the Fairy Tales tea collection.

Although it is marketed towards children, this apple tea is a delightful treat for anyone who has ever dreamed of being a princess. This charming green rooibos blend is rich in apples, hibiscus, cocoa nibs, cherries, coconut, and infused with cherry and apple flavors. It boasts a wonderfully fruity aroma.

In terms of flavor, I find it to be light and smooth, making it an excellent choice for a relaxing after-dinner beverage. Its gentle taste is a personal favorite, and even my four-year-old daughter enjoys it immensely.

The tea requires about five minutes to steep, although I recommend steeping it a bit longer for a more robust flavor. Once brewed, it presents a lovely honey-yellow hue. The Fairy Tales tea collection includes two additional teas. Each of the three flavors can be purchased individually or as a set. The tins are charming, and once the tea is finished, your child can repurpose the can for storing small treasures.

It’s The Great Pumpkin Tea

Pumpkin tea

Adagio offers a variety of seasonal flavors beyond just pumpkin and apple, perfect for easing into the fall season. Inspired by the classic Halloween special, It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, this blend features Earl Grey Moonlight, Pumpkin Spice, and Cream.

The tea presents a delightful vanilla aroma complemented by hints of cinnamon. Its composition includes black tea, cinnamon bark, natural pumpkin spice flavor, cloves, ginger root, natural cream flavor, orange peels, blue cornflowers, natural vanilla flavor, marigold flowers, cardamom, and natural bergamot flavor.

In terms of flavor, it delivers a robust black tea experience with creamy Earl Grey notes, subtly enhanced by pumpkin spice. For those seeking a stronger pumpkin taste, adding extra Pumpkin Spice tea could shift the balance from creamy vanilla to a more pronounced pumpkin flavor. Overall, this tea is a delightful choice for morning or afternoon enjoyment. The sample tins, which yield approximately five cups, are an excellent way to explore various teas from Adagio and would also serve as thoughtful stocking stuffers for the holiday season.

Maple Green Tea

If you’re looking for a lighter option, try Adagio Teas’ Maple Green Tea. This gentle green tea is complemented by the sweet and earthy flavor of maple, creating a harmonious balance of taste. It’s the perfect choice for those who prefer a milder tea experience with a hint of autumn sweetness. Sip on this tea while taking a leisurely stroll through the colorful fall foliage for a truly serene moment.

Peppermint Tea

While peppermint tea may not be traditionally associated with fall, it is a delightful beverage to enjoy during this season. There’s nothing quite like a comforting cup of mint tea to ease the stomach after indulging in a hearty Thanksgiving meal. I often choose peppermint tea as my preferred after-dinner drink throughout the week. The peppermint tea I purchased from Adagio has been particularly enjoyable. The aroma of peppermint was immediately noticeable upon opening the package. In terms of flavor, the tea offers a subtle yet refreshing peppermint taste. I enhance the experience by adding steamed milk, which creates a creamy mint sensation. I also brew it slightly longer than the recommended five minutes to intensify the mint flavor. While the tea is soothing on its own, it pairs wonderfully with the chamomile tea I’ve been savoring from Adagio.

Spiced Chai Rooibos

For those who enjoy a bit of spice in their tea, the Spiced Chai Rooibos from Adagio Teas is a must-try. This caffeine-free blend features the robust flavors of rooibos tea infused with traditional chai spices like ginger, cardamom, and cloves. It’s a comforting and invigorating tea that will warm you up from the inside out. Enjoy a cup on a brisk fall morning or as an afternoon pick-me-up.

Chamomile Tea

 Adagio Teas

Chamomile tea from Adagio is crafted using the finest chamomile flowers sourced from the Nile River Valley in Egypt. This tea features whole flower pieces for an authentic experience.

Upon steeping, it emits a fragrance reminiscent of freshly picked apples and takes on a lovely golden hue. The steeping process lasts approximately five minutes.

I occasionally combine peppermint with chamomile tea, but on its own, Adagio’s chamomile serves as a wonderfully calming bedtime beverage. I find it exceptionally soothing and arguably the best chamomile tea I have ever tasted.

This tea possesses a subtle sweetness that is often absent in other chamomile blends. While I typically do not add sweeteners to my chamomile tea, there is truly no need for one. The gourmet pyramid tea bags enhance both quality and convenience, as their unique shape allows for optimal infusion of the tea leaves.

Zodiac Tea

What is your zodiac sign? I am a Gemini, and coincidentally, there is a tea specifically for my sign. Gemini tea features a delicate combination of white tea, rose hips, and peach flavor. This tea is included in the Zodiac (Air & Earth) sampler, which consists of six zodiac-themed teas elegantly packaged in metal tins, making it an excellent gift for astrology enthusiasts. Additionally, the tea can be purchased separately in 2 oz tins, a 16 oz refill bag, or as 15 full leaf pyramids. I received a complimentary sample of this tea with my order of other blends and discovered that it remains a light infusion regardless of the brewing time.

Adagio Teas provides an extensive selection of gourmet teas and related products. Tea enthusiasts, such as myself, can explore the Adagio Teas database to find the ideal blend. Furthermore, you have the option to create a profile to monitor the teas you appreciate and compile a wish list of teas you wish to sample.

The Create a Blend widget is exceptionally user-friendly. To begin, simply assign a name to your blend, select the types of teas you wish to incorporate, and specify the desired percentages for each. Following this, you have the option to design a custom label, which can consist of straightforward text or an image that you can upload from your computer or retrieve from your Facebook account. Additionally, you have the opportunity to market the blends you create, allowing other tea enthusiasts to enjoy them at home. Customers may opt to allocate a portion of the proceeds from their created tea to acquire more teas for personal use or choose to donate 5% of the sales to a charitable organization.

I have decided to create a blend named Upsy Daisy, which features a combination of peppermint, chamomile, lemongrass, and a hint of lavender. This blend serves as an uplifting tea, which inspired the name Upsy Daisy. I will be donating 5% of my sales to Pathways to Independence, an organization that assists adults with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries, or those with dual diagnoses in southeastern and eastern Ontario.
