Barbie in Princess Power premiered last spring. Kara gains magical abilities after a butterfly kisses her. With the help of her friends, she becomes Super Sparkle, a superhero who fights crime in secret. However, her jealous cousin also gains powers and becomes Dark Sparkle, her enemy. As they battle in the skies, they must unite when faced with a common enemy threatening the kingdom.
Barbie, in her superhero persona, aims to motivate young girls to explore their inner superhero and demonstrates that friendship and teamwork hold an unparalleled strength in conquering obstacles.
I have not yet watched the movie, so I am not able to give a review at this moment. However, after speaking with a few parents, it seems that kids are finding it enjoyable.
I had the opportunity to examine the latest Barbie doll from Mattel, which was launched in March 2015. I must confess that I am a bit tardy with this review, as you have probably already come across it on store shelves by now.
Similar to other Barbie dolls, the Barbie Princess Power Super Sparkle Doll promotes imaginative play. With this doll, your daughter can recreate the princess-to-superhero transformation depicted in the movie.
Princess Kara Barbie is dressed in a delicate light pink strapless gown adorned with silver sparkle, along with a pink tiara. By pressing the button on the bodice, you can unveil Super Sparkle’s cape featuring pink, purple, and silver star prints. Transform the tiara into a superhero mask to finalize the change. To revert back to Princess Kara mode, just twist the doll’s waist
