A notable aspect of our staycation in Toronto was the Toronto Premier Dinner Cruise on the Odyssey, which offered a truly enjoyable experience. This was my second encounter with City Cruises Toronto, and it certainly fulfilled my expectations. I reached the specified boarding location at 6:15 pm with my eldest daughter, who was my dinner companion. After a wait of 15 minutes, we boarded the boat and were assigned a table. A cordial server quickly welcomed us and took our beverage order.
The boat journey was remarkably tranquil. The vessel was exquisite, and we greatly admired the illumination of the city. Our server was exceptionally amiable, providing the highest quality of service I have ever received. Although there was a prolonged wait for our meal, the culinary offerings were outstanding. The food was not just outstanding; it was absolutely mouthwatering.
Following the arrival of our dinner, we opted to ascend to the top deck to bask in the sunlight and appreciate the scenic view. We even engaged in some dancing. However, the dancing caused my daughter to feel quite dizzy due to her brain injury, necessitating her to take a seat.
Nevertheless, capturing photographs and selfies with the Toronto skyline in the background proved to be an enjoyable experience. The atmosphere aboard the boat was vibrant, with guests enthusiastically assisting one another in taking pictures.
The boat was remarkably clean, and the crew radiated friendliness and hospitality, making for a truly inviting environment. We are definitely looking forward to setting sail on this particular ship again in the future. The sunset casts a beautiful glow on the downtown skyline, creating a captivating visual experience. The cruise lasts approximately three hours, offering an excellent opportunity to view the city from an alternative vantage point.
