The brief warm glow of summer is fading into autumn and our wardrobes shift to suit cooler comfort. New season, new fashion, new style. Tomato-crème, burnt red-orange, and golden palm are trending colour palettes to the end of 2024 current trends.
Your floral prints can continue on flowing waist clinching skirts with more material. This is a season for insulating layers, not breath-ability, but don’t lose your eclectic style or use of patterns. Be sure your boots have quality grip to prevent the surprise slip as temperatures dip.
A mixture of music, fashion, and vibrant style is captured in festival outfits. You can express your love for life and experience it how you feel most comfortable and free. Life should be the festival.
Style is about combining the various things we’ve accumulated during impulse shopping, realizing later we forgot to purchase what we went shopping for in the first place. Maybe that’s just me. As the mercury drops, switch from a polo to a button-down long-sleeve shirts cable knit sweater, and darker blazer. Jeans, trousers, and chinos can be dressed up or down that’s why they are in your capsule wardrobe. Layer up with T’s, cardigans, and knitwear. An argyle, gilet, or fleece is fashionable and functional this time of year. A trench is another classic covering. Make ready your quilted overcoat for the season to come.

Mother nature throws at us a wider weather range than we find comfortable. Whichever climate you are in, the hottest look you can wear is a smile. The stern, near-angry look of runway models must be from hunger. No outfit is complete without a smile.
I would really love to hear any styling suggestions that could enhance my jeans and sweatshirt outfit—perhaps through accessories, footwear, or other elements?
