About Rayn-Bands
Rayn-Bands originated from the creative mind of an eleven-year-old named Rayn Loyer, hailing from Ottawa, Ontario. The concept for these medical bracelets was born when Rayn developed a prototype lanyard to address his youngest brother’s asthma and peanut allergy. As word spread, friends and families began requesting their own bracelets, leading to the establishment of an allergy/medical bracelets business. Remarkably, Rayn has successfully fulfilled over 1800 orders to date. In addition to their entrepreneurial endeavors, the company also demonstrates their commitment to social responsibility by donating 10% of their monthly sales to various charitable organizations, including but not limited to the Canadian Red Cross, The Special Olympics, and CHEO.
My Thoughts

Due to the customizable and lightweight nature of these bracelets, they are an excellent option for toddlers who attend daycare or preschool.
What attracts me to Rayne-Bands is their contemporary appearance and feel. Teenagers are a particularly discerning demographic when it comes to wearing medical bracelets. Many of them are concerned about their appearance and the opinions of their peers, a sentiment that extends to some young adults like my daughter.
I purchased a Rayne-Band for my daughter, who is coping with a traumatic brain injury. I must say, I am very impressed with the band’s durability. She is delighted with the design and has received numerous compliments.

What a wonderful and quite stylish way to alert other of potential health issues. As seen in the picture above, I have a mother and a best friend both with brain injuries and in the past this could have helped significantly. Just as my mother started getting some of her independence back it would have been great have one that indicates brain injury! Will definitely be looking in to getting a few for family members!

These are very nice, and so much better looking then the traditional medical bracelet, my husband bought me an expensive medical bracelet for Christmas but it’s still the normal silver bracelet, these ones are so much nicer looking and the kids would wear them a lot more, heck I like it, and I like that you can see the condition clearly, on mine it’s so tiny you can hardly read what it says! so yes I love these ones!!

I’ve come to realize how important it is for my little girl to always wear a medical alert band informing others about her peanut allergy. She has one now that she wears, but I really like the peanut one from Rayn with the cartoon character on it.
