Heart Puppy Dog Paper Craft
The first craft we created was an adorable heart-shaped puppy.
You don’t need much to bring this project to life.
– Construction Paper
– Scissors
– Glue Stick
– Gem Stickers
– Wiggle Eyes or Puffy Heart Stickers
Feel free to choose any color for your puppy. We opted for red since it’s both mine and Miss P’s favorite hue. Begin by cutting out a large red heart and a pink heart from the construction paper. Slice the pink heart in half to form the puppy’s floppy ears. Next, cut out a smaller black heart for the nose and two tiny pink hearts for the eyes. Assemble all the pieces with glue, and don’t forget to cut a small pink oval for the tongue sticking out! You can add two dots on the eyes with a black marker or use googly eyes. We decided to use heart-shaped puff stickers. If you’d like to give your puppy some spots, you can use a bingo stamper or gem stickers, just like we did.
DIY Heart Unicorn
Start by gathering your construction paper or card stock along with some scissors. Let the kids cut out a big heart, a nose, a unicorn horn, and ears for each unicorn they want to create. Once they have all the pieces, they can glue everything together and add wiggle eyes along with any other fun decorations they like. For the unicorn’s mane, we used crumpled tissue paper balls and glued them on. Don’t forget to inspire your child to unleash their own creativity!
Kissing Heart Fish
Create a big heart shape using construction paper, along with four smaller hearts. The smaller hearts will serve as fins, lips, and scales. Let the kids glue these pieces onto the larger heart. For the eyes, you can add googly eyes or puff eye stickers. Finally, enhance your creation with some fun decorations like glitter or rhinestones!
