We decided to embark on an adventure with Buccaneer Bounce. The goal of this exciting game is to be the first player to skillfully navigate the twisting sea path and reach the coveted Treasure Island tile.
Start your journey at Pirate’s Cove, the initial tile—position it wherever you prefer to kick off your sea expedition. The Treasure Island tile marks your destination—place it at your chosen endpoint.
Next, shuffle the remaining tiles and lay them face down to create a meandering sea route that connects Pirate’s Cove to Treasure Island, ensuring the path is clearly marked. Don’t forget to place the Treasure Chest game piece on the Treasure Island tile. Each player will then select a ship and position it on the Pirate’s Cove tile, ready to set sail!
How to Play Mystery Island Pirates
When it’s your turn, roll the die and advance your ship the number of spaces shown. If you land on a face-down tile, be sure to flip it over. You may also land on tiles that have already been revealed. In either case, follow the instructions on the tile. If the tile doesn’t require any action, your turn ends there. However, if it does call for an action, move your ship accordingly. Keep repeating this process for your new tile until you either land on a tile that requires no action or return to a tile you’ve previously visited.
