Gerald. C. Rinks - Bigbluepoet | Author Added: 2008-05-01 Writer of The Month: Gerald thought about being a writer when he was about 10 years old. He even wrote a short SiFi piece and read it to his sister, but became sidetracked and didn’t do much of anything until about 8 years ago when his ex-wife and he came to a mutual agreement to separate.
Shortly after that, he began writing poetry to work out some of his disappointments in hislate marriage and ultimately, himself. The results are about a 100 to 150 pieces of poetry and prose in various states of writing. When married, he we raised five children, of which he still has two at home. His sister moved in with him about two years ago and they have managed to work out a system of not irritating each other. He has been blessed with five beautiful grandchildren. Gerald says "He has ready to retire in mind, but not pocket book and look forward to his continued writing."

Rebecca Ogrodowski/ RibZ | Author Added: 2008-04-01 Writer of The Month: RibZ is a chronologically thirty-something part-time writer and artist. Sue Rogers | Author Added: 2008-03-01 Writer of The Month: Writer of the Year 2007
Sue Rogers, aka Lark believes that joining Today's Woman at the beginning of November 2006 helped her find her "Poetic feet," after much encouragement and feedback from her fellow members. She went on to enjoy being selected as May 2007 Poet of the Month and from there followed the accolade of being recognized as Writer of the Year and feeling that sense of achievement and pride. It really does make a difference to be acknowledged as a writer and gives a sense of self worth. The creativity on this site is boundless and to be part of that is something special, so thank you one and all.
