There are numerous complaints about this Publishing Company. Writers World Limited is a print on demand book publisher based in the United Kingdom (UK), Spain and the Netherlands. The owner's name is Graham Cook. Complaints include non payment of services, non-production of promised books, non-payment of royalties and harassment from Graham Cook to those who question or complain about his company. Consumers should avoid this company and do a background check on Writers World Limited as there has been a number of lawsuits brought against them.

I was just reading the warnings posted on Booksandtales.com In all cases Graham Cook claims that he is the victim and individuals are making false and defamatory statements about him. Graham Cook favor word is lawsuit. He is going to sue any author or subcontractor who shares their experience of Writers World Limited.
On Apr 21, 2006 Graham Cook made a post on the bookandtales website directed to the owner. Graham Cook stated “I am off to London next week to meet our lawyers so we can commence our legal proceedings against you personally and your website so this is the last time I can communicate with you direct, however over the next year you are going to be spending a great deal of time and money in London defending these actions or in the alternate we get a Default Judgement.”
He has made the same claims towards my husband and I and has supposedly sent an email to Google in an effort to get the information removed from Google.com and google.co.uk. The email states “I would bring to you attention appalling defamatory material that appears on www.google.co.uk and www.google.com Your search engines are displaying this appalling material not just about me but also my company Writersworld Limited. I know you are unaware of what has been going on here.” The letter further goes on to make statements about Shawn and I. Graham Cook says, “As to www.todays-woman.net and www.invision-graphics.com they are run by a husband and wife team the wife Rose DeRochers having been banned from posting things on numerous websites because of her defamatory comments about other persons. They are working hand in glove with Shahida Rahman of www.perfectpublishers.co.uk and turned a petty contractual dispute into an excuse to defame me on the internet.”
This in itself is a false statement. I guess the rules do not apply to Graham. The letter he sent to Google lists eight websites that apparently are publishing false and defamatory statements against him. In that list is todayswoman.net, invision-graphics.com, booksandtales, writersweekly, scamfraudalert, booklocker, eliteskills and authorsonline.co.uk .
He states “We have instituted proceeding against all these persons and entities at the Royal Courts of Justice in London where we are seeking substantial damages.” That’s funny, Shawn or I are yet to receive a letter from his lawyer. To the best of my knowledge none of the owners of the websites listed have.
Graham Cook needs to start running an honest business.
A copy of each legal notice Google receives is sent to a third-party partner for publication and annotation. As such, his letter would have been forwarded to Chilling Effects (http://www.chillingeffects.org ) for publication.
I didn’t find Graham Cook’s cease and desist letter published there.

Hi, old geezer here again,
Just a quick up date on eveyones 'favorite' POD publisher. Cookie has made it to the big time! He, and his 'interesting business ethics' have made it into this weeks edition of Private eye magazine, issue no 1184 page 26, an interesting little feature entitled "Vanity Case". Apparently he promised not to sue them as long as they made it clear who the victim was in all this , [him]. Yeah right Graham.
For the benefit of all those unfamiliar with this publication they are the last people you want on your case! Governments have fallen because of scandals they have unearthed!!

| Graham Cook of WritersWorld has done it again and by the sounds of it followed the same pattern, lots of threats and aggression, very unpleasant really. I'd be interested to hear from other people who have taken him to court to help me decide whether or not I should do the same. |
